About Dean's Swim School
Hello, my name is Dean!
I am currently a grade 11 student at Brooklin High School in Whitby. I have been swimming for my entire life and I strongly believe that swimming is an essential life skill. Growing up in my parents' karate school made me realize my love for teaching and helping others grow their skills. Outside of school and swimming I enjoy boxing, drumming and anime.
What To Expect
At Dean's Swim School, I offer private swim lessons for Swimmer Levels
1 - 6 in the comfort of my beautiful backyard pool. Aqua Dean follows the Life Saving Society's swimming level structure and badge certification. I only offer private, 1-on-1 lessons to ensure that each student is able to progress at their own pace. Swim lessons shouldn't be stressful or rushed.
The Swim Area
Dean's Swim School is located at 59 Downey Drive in Whitby, ON. The salt-water pool has a shallow end that is 3 ft deep and a deep end that is 7 ft deep. The pool is 28 ft long and 14 ft wide and is heated to a very comfortable 30°C. We have a wide variety of pool equipment such as pool noodles, life jackets and flutter boards. There is a gazebo with a sofa and chairs for parents to watch lessons from the comfort of a shaded perch.
